Ain't No Place Like Now?

We seriously meant to start this blog later this year with the lofty intentions of providing great resources, spunky opinions and fun gifs. But here we are, starting this thing whether we are prepared to or not. A fitting sentiment for the times weʻre living in.

Brought to you by the HIHO Leadership Team, this blog space will bring content to you from a range of perspectives. You can expect to read about volunteering as a volunteer, through a research-based lens, and as it relates to the broader community. We love volunteers and acknowledge the breadth and depth of your job to not just be a leader and caretaker, but to also be an advocate for the humanity that volunteers bring to the important services your organization works so hard to provide.

As this blog progresses and time passes, we hope to share with you news beyond the current COVID-19 pandemic. But for now we are focusing on providing you a place filled with resources to help you (and me) get through this moment, one day at a time.
